ok… I'm missing not having Dr Martins…. I miss the whole good for everything thing.. looking at a few styles…
I want these...
but I need to be able hike and shit in them and dem groovy soles might be too clunky… but they are zip up too

but they only come in medium width… so not sure.. might just go for the normal version..
I also like the look of these

they come in wide and low top so no tying

Is the Doc martins thing about the comfort? I like the looks I guess (not sure I can pull em off tho) And not tying is awesome, I always have to have a few pairs of shoes I can slide into

Docs are comphy yeah, although I don't like their steel toes, the safety toe they use needs to be bigger or shorter over all, but I am done with steel toes and I still have the danners if needed, and while they are ok for hiking and stuff they are a bit extreme as they are full on work boots. But those Docs I posted about falling apart were my goto shoes for outdoors and bad weather for 6 years, that's a good run, and I know how docs fit [I think I've had 6 pairs over the years] so I don't have to spend a lot of time looking at other brands. I just have to decide if I trust ordering or have to track down a store without having to fucking drive to fucking seattle...

Doc Martens are comfy like super comfy once they are worn in. That can be a pain in the Ass and take more than a month. If you polish them with fat it breaks in faster. But no pair is the same...
They are still very heavy shoes.
Mud, those first boots look dope!
I have similar ones with 7 holes and steel Tap. If you only use 6 you can tie them super fast.

Ah, funny that they're selling those in the States, they're probably orange I guess?

yeah white and orange
not sure they are supposed to sell in the states but I tracked down a pair
unfortunately the 10s were too small (some shoes I can manage a 10 not these)
so I passed em on to a friend
here's a link
http://www.eukicks.com/nike-dunk-low-cl-netherlands/
the speckled midsole is what really kills on this shoe, not super common on dunks
if I find a 10.5 I will be locking them down at some point

and back from the mall… and I'm still alive… as is everyone else for some reason…
So I got these to replace my old ones and fuck they are comphy, had to try two pairs though..
and…
I got these for $50 because I wear 13s and they said they've been sitting in the back for a year. Dude was cool I wanted to try out the first pair I got and he came back with 6 different docs to try

that was a cool shoe dude [Journey's Olympia mall, dude has a beard

*Obvious reason that i bought 8 (eight) pairs of Doc Martens since end of august 2013.

Mudfuzz, that red colour is freaking great! How the hell do you look after a finish like that though?

I think you have to decided first red or black… or just let them get beat the hell up.. but really I have no idea

I'm going to have to look into it for sure.

How are Docs with snow/ice? I kinda want another pair of boots, but the internet makes it sound like the soles are shit for winter.
