i don't *recommend* this, though, because if there's ever a situation where cops get called to a domestic dispute, it's ALWAYS the guy who gets arrested, regardless of the facts of the matter.

I actually agree with you on this. As someone who also dealt with a physically abusive woman at one point in my life, if you punch me, kick me or slap me, you're getting a swing right back, regardless of what set of gonads you have. I'll deal with the cops later.

This idea that women are the gentle, defenseless gender needs to fucking die in our society. A woman who is pissed off can do some major fucking damage to a guy, especially since guys are taught not to defend themselves against women. It's strange that our gender-equality, feminism and female empowerment segments of society don't fight that particular misconception.

Yeah. I've told Kate since we've started dating that if she ever hit me, I'd hit back. I'm chivalrous, but fuck that. :poke:

Yep. If a woman wanted to fight me, she'd get a fight, just the same as a man (but fighting anyone I wouldn't try to do major damage or anything, not that I could if I wanted). Hitting anyone is generally a bad thing to do, doesn't matter what gender they are.

I hate the double standards people have over gender inequality.

If I remember the statistic correctly, men spend 40% more time in jail for the same crimes as female offenders.

This is a good video about it and related issues.

I donated $2.00 to something using my paypal. What I didn't realize is that they tried to take it out of the empty bank account I use to get money off of my paypal account. Now I have a $35 overdraft fee because paypal didn't take it off of my debit card instead.

Impressive. Most impressive. Obi-wan has taught you well. You have controlled your fear. Now, release your anger!

The stereo in my room is fucked up. A few weeks about the right channel of the tuner would just cut out and hiss and all this shit and after playing around with the wires it stopped doing it. However, it is now stuck in mono for no conceivable reason and it's bugging the shit out of me. General lack of depth and it really gets annoying on certain songs where parts go in and out of phase.
