And I'm sitting on a bench at a tiny beach waiting for my friend and I'm not sure if anybody is in the water and it might be awkward if there really are people and I realize they are there but only when everybody comes and we get in the water

gah. a friend that i ADORE just got in a fight with her boyfriend. like, FIGHT fight. he attacked her. she said she got him really good, but i want to DESTROY this guy. you do NOT hit women.

having lived with an abusive woman for thirteen years, i now believe it's perfectly acceptable to hit 'em if they hit you first. if i'd knocked her ass out the first time she knocked my glasses across the room by hitting me in the face, it'd have at least given her some negative reinforcement.

i don't *recommend* this, though, because if there's ever a situation where cops get called to a domestic dispute, it's ALWAYS the guy who gets arrested, regardless of the facts of the matter.

mmmkay, so late last night, I went swimming with some friends at a tiny city beach. Naturally the cops showed up to kick us out. I was on the shore and my friends swam off so I was the one who ran into the cops. My friends had left all of their stuff (ID's, car keys, phones, freshly opened bottle of Southern Comfort), so it was like "Yeah, I was leaving, look how dry I am. These people swam away because I said it looked like a cop." So I just got a ticket for violating park curfew (we're all of age). Now here's the funny part, I kinda may or may not have had certain "paraphenalias" on my person in a pack of cigarettes. So I was panicking the entire time the cop is talking to me. But then, fearing the worst, I took an opportunity when the cop was back at the car to drop the 1/3 pack of smokes and what ever else may have been in there onto the beach and kick some sand over it.

Well right after that is when the cop just gave me a ticket and let me go, lol, so I've been insanely paranoid all night they were going to be walking around and dig up my stuff. Soooooooo, to ease my mind I wandered over there at 10am sat in a conveniently shady are with a plank to sit on and sand to put my feet in and somewhat inconspicuously managed to dig up my stuff. It's a bit sandy and most of the cigs are useless but It's at least a minor victory. Now I'm perfectly fine back in bed. Only posted this in here cause that's what I was freaking out about all last night, lol.



And I did get a ticket.
