my best friend in the world arrived in Chicago tonight for an extended weekend cos her mother's 90th birthday is this weekend. i am SO HAPPY to get to see someone i actually know and love...it's lonely as hell here. we've known each other since we were 14, and ever since my ex left we've talked to each other on the phone almost every night. we're going to drive up to Michigan for MMJ and a stop to visit some of her old friends in Kalamazoo. so i get to hang with her all day tomorrow :!!!:

Just got back from seeing Boris play my favorite song of theirs, plus some others (including a MBV cover). I NEVER thought I'd be able to see Flood live.
IT WAS
THE
SHIT
Also, first time using earplugs (Hearos) and they performed amazingly well. I can still hear stuff!

Note the headbang at 7:40, it was hard to sit still

Digging through the BST my local music forum and found an ad that said " Guitars, Amps, Maton, voxAC100, Crocodile ". Kind of weird, figured it might have been "crocodile boots" or something and the text was just simply cut off... so I decided to click on it..... yup...... he's selling a fucking crocodile.... :/

Going to be meeting up with one of my college professors that moved with her husband up to my area the same time I did. Going to catch up and talk about job stuff, which will be really, really nice.

eBay is insane! I just found the service manual for this tape recorder I've been meaning to fix for the past few months. Hopefully it'll make things a lot easier.

Been playing the SG and watching Firefly, that show always makes me feel better. Some damn fine women on this short lived series. Mmm Christina Hendricks.

I went over to my Mom's house today and my step dad got a new Blackstar amp and a new goldtop LP. Cranked the reverb a plinked away. Felt like Efrim. Good vibes.

All of my guitars/bass start to feel really good now that I've started considering selling one or two.
Not that it will stop me if others feel better.
