Well fuck. Now I don't know what to do. One Spot is much cheaper, Cioks is much sexier, and PP+ is more practical used than Cioks.
Right now it's a toss up because I literally my power supplies maxed out here and have pedals just sitting, not being able to be on my board. At the same time, do I care? I don't know really. I could really use another fuzz...hahahahahaha. Seriously. hahahahahaha.
What to do, what to do.

Well, 1700ma is the max ammount of current a one spot can put out. If you have more current draw than that, it will rule it out quick.

PP2+ for sheerrrr.
Yeah, it's pricier than the others but almost guaranteed it won't give you that "sounds great at home, but where's that fucking hiss/buzzing coming from on a gig" bullshit.

God I love you guys. hahahaha. So many different opinions. I want the power supply, but GOD! I hate spending money on that shit. It would be nice to have the Cioks Dc-10 though. The PP+ is nice but the Cioks sounds more versatile. I also need patch cables, but fucking HATE buying those. HATE.
My birthday is coming up on July 5th, so this is kind of my birthday present. Well...that's a lie. This and everything else I buy myself all the time. Cough. Dual Elements. Cough. Sorry, had a hair in my throat.

Except new strings. I love the sound of new strings on a bass.

and thats why we love you. I realized I had a gear pile and then realized that I can't play guitar and just hack at playing the bass.

I love the sound of fresh strings too. I hate dropping $30-40 a pop...I don't get why Bass Strings are SO much more than guitar string. Yes more material, not much more time though. I guess they are SO expensive because we pay that much. I get that there are cheaper strings but I have a habit of breaking cheap strings.

Not a new secret, but something I've been doing for a while now....
Buy yourself an empty paint can from Home Depot (the kind you have to hammer the lid back on) and a container of
denatured alcohol. It HAS to be denatured (doesn't contain water)
You coil up the old strings (like they come new in a pack) and drop them in the container filled with the alcohol for 24 hours. It works wonders.
Don't do the old string boiling bullshit.
