If I had one I would have just given it to you without the dolphin information because that's what friends do. I don't have one though. I have an RP200 but I'm using it . Ugly Nora got me into singing bowls so I'm processing those through that.

I am hankerin for a multi-fx thingymadoodle lately. Just so I can do weird noises without having to tear apart and reconfigure my pedalboard every other week.

I don't have any music bowls, just regular pasta/cereal type bowl. Maybe they can sing, I've never given them the chance, to be fair.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I was looking for shitty delays but all the shitty delays got expensive so I thought I could hopefully get an even shittier delay with multi fx. Plus, I like the idea of having something that does a lot of ground work first, then I can add what I already have later.

I might (but probably not) pick up an rp300 cause of the two extra knobs and two assignable LFO's. The LFO for the delay is fucking stupid though as it only modulates the wet and dry (and when I say stupid I mean extremely innovative and useful for a consumer multi effect, no disrespect, just being a Soy Boy). There is one on Reverb for $50 now but open the guy is open to offers. $22 may be a bit low, I might offer $30.

Also has stereo outs if you are interested.

I've been wanting to pick up one of the newer Zoom multi-fx boxes for a while. The weird things is the cheap ass ones have an amp style spring reverb AND a Fender '63 Reverb style spring, but the expensive ones just have the regular spring and not the drippy one. The G1 and the 70-CDR have them. I'm tempted to get the G1x0n, because it's less than the CDR and has an expression pedal and amp/dirt modelers (which I have zero use for, but NOISES). The CDR is smaller and looks better built and only has non dirt type fx and I've heard some awesome tones people have made with it. Shoegaze, surf and 70's horror movie synth sounds, which are all what I want.

The Zoom looks pretty sweet. My "beef" is the lack of knobs and $70 (part of the fun for me is getting these things for nothing ).

Given the anti-cool factor of multi-fx, I think it would be appropriate for ILF Confessions.

I find the world of sub $50 multi-fx induces a bit of...trepidation in me.

Most of the time on Reverb, "make an offer" means "Reverb said this would sell faster if I clicked Accept Offers, but I'm not budging". Which reminds me of a CL ad onetime that gave a price as $x OBO and the guy go really pissed off when I made him an offer. When I questioned him about it he revealed that he thought OBO meant the price or BETTER, like let the bidding begin. People are useless garbage.

I'd go with "take it or bake it, party mango". It's not actual slang, but it could get something started.

I also love the Burger King kids meal multi effects pedals. One of the coolest things I ever recorded from a band I was in like 15 years ago was the bass player laying down an infinite repeats loop on a zoom of some sort and I had the stereo out on my delay going to 2 amps over it with a haunting melody and then the drummer came in huge and Bonham style.. fond memories. I still bump the tape occasionally

Comesect posted that Zoom a while back and I looked over it. Similar sentiments to what you expressed (across the web). You should go for it. I think multi-fx are sweet. I would like some oscillating multi-fx.

Which Zoom, the G1 or the 70CDR? Those are the two I was looking at. The G1 models are cheaper, but the CDR is more compact and durable. Either would be cool, I'm seriously considering it.
