So, I've been sitting around for a year saying that The Flaming Lips are a band that I have to see before I die. Last summer, I spent entire days watching live videos of them playing, just because I wanted to see them so bad.

Then they announce a new album for 2013, and I think "Great, they'll definitely go on tour soon then."

Then I move to Niagara Falls, and think "Maybe they'll play a Festival I can make it to this summer. That'd be awesome, if I can afford it."

THEN BUFFALO BOOKS THEM FOR ART PARK AND THEY FALL INTO MY LAP FOR A JULY 15TH SHOW FOR FIVE FUCKING DOLLARS.

I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR THIS.

Been at the beach for little more than a week. Good sex, food, beach walks, and lots of reading and guitar playing! Could not have asked for a better week. Playing a lot of music does give me the really bad gas though....

I had a follow up to the coffee date from yesterday with definite talks of a third, more intimate one.
Plus it's the last day of classes tomorrow.

It's been a pretty great week.

We're recording a 3 track demo in a couple of weeks. And we took some band photos in an abandoned factory yesterday, shit was scary

2 Months away we'll be recording too. In the studio of my dreams (at least in the realistic dreams).

4 Track plus remix EP. Woot!

More happiness: I'll be meeting a girl from the internet tonight.

Had a dry spell because of a ton of shit then got butt twice this week. Turns out sex is a great motivator, and my girl needed motivation to get papers done this week.

I WAS HELPING.

For some reason I feel pretty good even though I should be terrified by everything that's going on in my life.

Snippy's date last night went well. Went very well. Trying to get girlie to come out to my show Saturday night. Especially since it's right by where she lives.

Trying not to text/FB message her now since we last saw each other this morning. But today was just so long between getting up at 7 for sloppy make-outs and a bowl (found out she smokes teh herb!), then my internship, an hour and a half nap in my car before 7 hours of work.

Now pizza, and beer, and wine and THUG, and all sorts of other things.

Dammit, where is IEATCATS? I wanna bug that dude. NIIIIIIIICK I need bro talk time.

SO,
I just finished my second interview for a nice paid internship this summer. This was one was over the phone with my potential supervisor who is in Des Moines, Iowa and I will be working here in Gainesville, Florida. Weird. But it is a tech company and my title would be Sales Operations. WILD.
