I love the premise and the trailers look good, but I just feel like there are SO MANY things that they can do wrong
So I guess I'm cautiously optimistic about it?

I'm not sure whether it's hilarious or disgusting.
It doesn't appear to be on Netflix UK. No fair.
I saw a trailer for Bright the other night. It's basically Shadowrun for fans of Bad Boys, right? Big coup for Netflix to get a name like Will Smith on a project though.
Not long finished Stranger Things 2. The more I watch it the more I can't help but notice all the little references and knowing winks to the 80's. It's a mildly satisfying pastiche of stuff I half remember but there are some good actors in it at least.
Started watching The Punisher. It has the guy from The Walking Dead in it but it isn't as bad as The Walking Dead. It is pleasingly violent in places. That Agent Orange guy was pretty good in Nurse Jackie. These are my thoughts on the show so far.

I'm up for a magical fantasy version of Alien Nation.

Bright may be the first Will Smith movie I've ever wanted to see.

is Bright a movie or series? i'm.... yeah. cautiously optimistic is a good description.
per ILF User Base Recommendations, which rarely steer me wrong, have started Hannibal. meant to forever because Mads Malsjgrgeksteijdh = Man Crush.
only 3 or 4 episodes in, it is GOOD. totally feels like what Dexter should have been.
..... but. mebbe my Dexter Opinions are compromised. if they had ended it after the (i think 3rd?) season where
, it would have been a solid, awesome series.

AGREED.
They only soiled the legacy of the show after that point.
Summation of every season after the Trinity Killer:
“Have I found someone who’s like me and I can trust to know the real me?”
*waste seven episodes*
“Nope and I have to kill them now. Lol”

Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale is on Prime. If you haven't seen it and like Christmas horror stories, demons, and gore, I'd highly recommend it.

lol. TOTES.
also, still digging the Hannibals, but there's been 2 episodes where they do the thing that bugs the butt cheese out of me. where every. single. thing that happens or is a personality quirk of the Monster Of The Week ties into the Exploration And Dramatization of each major character.
takes me out of the story. too facile and not representitive of the way the world actually works.
LAZY STORY TELLING IRKS ME.

It's both, but isn't that the Evil Dead standard?

Halt and Catch Fire is on Netflix.
Even though I know what's going to happen, I'm already preparing for a good cry.

Thabks for the Bright reminder. I had forgotten the name after having watched the trailer when it was first released.
anybody watch Christmas El Camino in Netflix? It was hilarious. Tim Allen, Vincent D’Onofrio, Dax Shepard, Jessica Alba. Netflix orig. I laughed for the first 60-minutes and then there’s a dark little twist. Check it.

Pretty much exactly as I expected.
