Wasn't convinced off the top of that one, but the solos + rhythm section are quite tasty.

Yeah--the whole tone stuff on the head is an acquired taste--there's probably a reason you don't hear it more often--but after that they settle into a more modal blues vibe, with Jackie and Lee in particular shining, but Mobley is a nice foil and the rhythm section w/ Higgins, Ridley and Herbie is something I would love to hear on the regular....
