For me it's always live, I don't think I've ever set up a prepared reel for it. I should do that sometime

I'm going with some prepared samples this time around, all from Laraaji's Ambient 3 record, accompanied by some synthy noodle doodles. I'm pretty freakin' excited for it, though the forecast recently went from high sixties to low 50s and possibly rainy.
Talked to Matthew yesterday and the venue is cool if we pull the show inside due to rain so at least there's a backup plan!

I've seen a few like that. For now I just got the portable scratch crossfader and can do 1/2 of what I wanted to do with it. just got here yesterday so I'll be trying it out this weekend. For the CV crossfading side of things I found someone working on creating one so may just wait for that or try Addac's VC fader thingy or the Rabid Elephant one if I can find one.

This is the most basic of way I intend to use it but just running the first test. Should be fun!

I got a DFAM today. I thought I had watched enough demos to get it banging right away, but of course it isn't that easy.
It's definitely fun though. Lost two hours just jamming away on it and trying to figure out what I'm doing.

Got the Hertz Donut MKIII in the mail today. Haven't had too much time to explore vs. trying to integrate it into a patch for Freq Boutique on Monday, but with the presets, I found something that works and have played with it a little:

I'm loving the sounds that I can get so far. Already have a bunch of ideas for when I have the chance to really explore. Will have more comments later...
Also, I knew it was a signature required package. The FedEx guy knocked on our door at 9 AM this morning and I was still in bed. Sorry to the FedEx guy for answering the door in my underwear and a dirty towel. Modular problems...

awwwww! that sucks meng. i had that sort of happen with a Thomas White dual resonant LPG module i had made. it BARELY would fit in the deepest part of my PitsMod home case. lol. thing was almost three times as deep as it was wide.
yeah. Donut sounds SO good. hate the odd hp but.... ordered one.

murrrrr. second Make Noise Skiff got in, and it seemed packed pretty well, but the little white plastic tabby bracket things that hold in the psu, only 2 or 3 out of like 10 are unbroken. makes the psu all floaty.
not a deal breaker. shizz happens. i tested each out and the psu seems fine, just not mounted anymore. emailed MN about ordering just the mounts, and if they don't have that i think i know how to fix it.
soons as the 4 Tiranas get in i'm going to make this either an All Sequencers skiff, or a Sequencers/Drum Bits skiff.
