Ok mega stupid question incoming! I have a gee tar coming in trade from my homie Hbomb. Can I use my bass amp with it? I have a Mesa Bass Prodigy. Or will I need a separate amp?

You'll be fine as long as you just follow your ears. Worst case is you just get some extra bass.
