Since Wampler announced a V2 of the Catapulp (different layout, switches?), the V1 has been discounted from $199 to $119. I played one of these in the fall and thought it was pretty good for a ballsier, amp-inspired overdrive.

Is this something I want? I've been looking for a combo amp forever that has a good dirty tone that will clean up some but I never need full immaculate.
It's a carvin xv212b

Honestly, the cleans are probably the best thing about those based on the ones I've played. Loud and properly clean. The gain was always total can'o'bees, but that one does have the later factory "hot rod" revision, which was supposed to help with that.

it's definitely gonna sound like a marshall, so if you're into that, it's a great deal, and carvin amps do have a reputation for reliability.

Remember the Hiwatt CTE (circa 2002)? This was has been modded for lower noise and more head control. No bids with 1.5 days left.

I mean, I like a ton of bangs that use marshalls, so that's encouraging. Internet searching is sparse on it but seems like most like it but some didn't like it at all

I reaaaaallly want this. But, I'm not really huge on strats, and I have spent too much money on guitars lately as is. Right up my alley style wise. and cheap as hell.

Hi,
I acquired this guitar as a project over the summer. I never got around to it and I'm moving and downsizing. The neck is gorgeous and probably worth at least $75 if you wanted to parts it out. The body is heavy and probably alder. I don't know the manufacturer and there are no markings on the guitar. I put new strings on it, but there is a loose solder so no sound comes out. The pickguard was cut to accommodate the HH configuration and it was probably a standard strat 3 pickup set before. Please contact me with any questions.

That's the cheapest I've seen a SFSR listed for lately. Nice deal.
