I'm pretty sure the paradigm shift to all creative success has already shifted back to a patronage system, but it will take a few years for folks to acknowledge it.

It would help if more of the patrons knew that.

If you eat thirteen cider mill donuts in an afternoon at your new job, it's hard to shake the reputation of 'donut glutton.'
