I may just buy a bassman and AB it against my music man but I have a feeling that what I have now is going to win. It is just fucking loud. I think there is some sort of voltage limiter that devnulljp post when anybody asks this question that you can buy with out blowing out your ear drums.
As far as my dirt selection goes, I have a rat clone, TGD, and a custom Ram/Tri muff from Basic Audio coming. Oh and a logger from Rygot

BRO IS THIS EVEN KUSH??? IS BUFFERED? TRV BYPASS??? MY FRIEND DAMBLEDORE TOLD ME I NEEDED CRYSTAL LETTUICE.
At the house I keep an old 100 watt Univox tube amp from circa 1972. Channel one is good for guitar, channel 2 is for bass. It is a pretty cool amp, I have it running through a Univox 2-15 cab, IT DUHZ DA DOOMZ and more. Cool side note, the head used to belong to Taylor Livingston of Iron Ether fame. He sent me a spring reverb tank for free for the amp, really cool of him to do. I occasionally check the amp for Iron Ether prototype pedals but haven't found any yet...

are there by chance any bass amps that double well as guitar amps?
Don't you own a HD130? That was the first amp I ever used which belonged to my Mom who used it for keyboard and guitar for a long time. When I started playing I was allowed to use the thing
Played a gig last night with my Hoof Fuzz for the first time, I fucking love that thing. I don't know why I prefer versus other muffs exactly, all I know is that I do.
My PT mini gig board has the Hoof and Monarch and that's all I really need for is band. At home I'm using the SA MWD2, Elements (still not sure what I think about it) and the FEA Labs Photon Fuzz.
Also last night was the first gig that I can remember in a long time where the other band's bass player was also using distortion. He was just fucking killing it with a Keeley modded big box Rat, a Pbass and an old Peavy solid state behemoth of some sort.

I do, I am keeping it but fuck man is it loud. And it needs some work.

I've had the new Hoof (top-mounted jacks) lying around for a bit, haven't had a chance to play it at full volume. I dig the small footprint, but damn... I dunno if I'm fighting a losing battle by trying to convince myself on muffs. I've always been a brassmaster fanatic and I'm thinking I should just accept that
I don't really consider the Rusty Box dirt but other then that I've got the Depth Charge, TAFM, BlueBeard (It's so pretty) and the Elements. I should scale back but I just want more sounds.

Sadly that is something I am now discovering as I am now into the 50+ stompboxes flipped and owned category. Some dirt I find just a lot of crossover but sometimes I wish I was not so fucking impulsive and kept some items.
I played a B:Assmaster briefly and I liked it very much. I can see why a lot of bass players use it.

I agree. I should have been a little more clear when I said that. I just meant that I, personally, don't consider it dirt because of how *I* use it. It can definitely get dirty though.
MY good friend, and pretty much everyone i've asked, use it as their always on pedal. It's dirty as hell but when turned off it sounds much less natural.
