playing Dragon Ball Fusions.
It sorta feels like what the Xenoverse games should have been.

Video games take a lot of time, talent and money to make. DLC that is properly designed (i.e. actually additional content, that does not detract from the base experience) is a good way for developers to get a better return on their investment, basically, as it's a bit less expensive to make as it's built on the base game (on all aspects, both technical and marketing/recognition/etc.).
I have no problem with DLC that is smartly designed. I bought all the Dark Souls and Bloodborne DLCs ever and they're the type I'm talking about : purely additional stuff. That takes time/talent/money to create, I repeat. We need someone to pay our salaries, you know.

Deus Ex: MD 'A Criminal Past' was a pretty darn good DLC campaign about 4-5 hours worth, the Environmental Design was amazing and the VA work was great too. It's a shame that game got shafted with the microtransactions, people just got pissed off and refused to buy the campaigns when they were all really well made. Didn't feel carved out of the story and just felt like additional badass stories about Jenson in the Deus Ex world.
I'm still really disappointed that the series has supposedly been put on hiatus/cancelled to make way for more goddamn Superhero movie tie-ins.

If new Zelda is more like Skyrim and the DLC works in that way, I don't have a problem. Hell, Majora's Mask was meant to be an expansion to OoT. They build the engine, the game is a contained story and then they release extra stuff on top. Is this how Destiny (dull as that game may be) has done it? I'd rather that than the same boring glitchy game every year at full price.

Blew about $2k at Best Buy yesterday. Bought a 70" flatscreen, wall mount, 1TB Xbox One and extra controller. It's for a new building here on campus--trying to draw some traffic through a fancy common area.
Any ideas for games that'd be good for an area like that? Short, fast sessions? Maybe local multiplayer? Thinking:
Forza
Overwatch
Doom
Call of Duty Black Ops III
NBA 2k17
Madden
Master Chief Collection
Rocket League
Rayman Legends
Some kinda fighting game?

Interesting idea. Rocket League is superb, short games, easy to jump into. Maybe pick one shooter? Overwatch is pretty popular. For a fighting game maybe Killer Instinct or Mortal Kombat if it isn't too gory for the public?

Tempted to check out Night in the Woods. Seems like ILF: The Game.

Nidhogg & Overcooked! <3 Both are a blast for local multiplayer.

I doubt I'll be able to pick a Switch up quickly, but I will get a Zelda bundle ASAP, here are some first impressions:

...One more Mass Effect Trilogy playthrough. Should be done before Andromeda
Was thinking of buying Horizon and Nier, but games are hella pricey new -haven't even bought Gravity Rush 2 yet. But it would be much wiser keeping that coin for holidays.
