I use 2 mixers rn, Behndz. Mackie 1202VLZ4 (12 channels) and Yamaha MG16 (16 channels). Recommend them both, but know that the Yamaha is a BIG BOY.
Also, new Noise Engineering loot came in. Holy fuck these are the best looking modules I own (I got them all in black. I want to sell my old silver versions and get new black versions. THAT is how good they look. My pictures don't do it justice so I'll take some better ones tomorrow.

lol. you could just.... buy..... new panellllllllls?
but yes. the black NoiseEng is SEXY.
i think that's the Mackie i have now? it's a solid backup, but i wouldn't mind a few more channels. or not. going to see how i do with this before i try to buy anything new. was hoping for a rackmount just to be able to hide it and have more desk space.
also, first patch with the Dark Matter -

drum loop from Varigate 8 and melody from FLXS, both going to the ER301. modulation is Arc and Marbles.

Tbh I haven't looked into that whole process of removing the panels. It seems rather difficult and I would be super paranoid about busting a Mimetic Digitalis and its 1000 LED's by accident.

that's beautiful suh!
so, Olivier just (? or before and i missed it?) that the proper name for her is EmaliƩ (sp?) now, will keep the Muffs name Pincenetenennets.
01) so. fucking. COOL. that people can be so open about parts of their life now. anything that makes someone happy, and doesn't hurt someone else, i am IN TO.
02) the only thing this made me think of was when Weinstein got outed and #MeToo started Synthrotek guy was crass, then sorta racist and definitely grossly misogynistic. and his modules..... kinda.... suck balls. EmiliƩ's loot has always been AMAZING, and i would assume she is pretty open minded and respectful of the differences between people.
connection? shitty people make shitty product?

Yeah, I think there is something to that. If someone pours their life into their work then it will inevitably show reflections of their personality.

I'm honestly not a fan of any of the mini-Mutables. They're just too cramped. The original versions are a perfect layout for me
I just ordered a 16n faderbank built by Michigan Synth Works! I've been waiting on them to be available for so long!
Here's the order link if anyone is interested:

Dark Matter has me far too intrigued. Hoping for some samples of something other than drum fills.

"Finished" my 7u for the time being.
Technically have 18hp I can sacrifice in the bottom row but for now I like having a little extra room for wiggling. I plan on doing some DIY on the blank 1u panels, probably a vactrol LPG or two and a manual gate button. I have a ton of learning to do still since half of these modules have come in during the last month, but I'm feeling more creative every day. Still have a Make Noise skiff that I may end up using for DIY modules and extras (like a Maths that should be in tomorrow).
