been there. done that. i know the horror of learning to repair appliances in situ. i am SO looking forward to renting again, so i can call the fucking landlord and say "WAAAAAH IT"S BUSTED COME AND FIX IT." i don't want to know anything more about the insides of toilets, dryers, water heaters, or any of that shit.
the best drummer i ever had came home early from work one day, found his best friend fucking his gf/the mother of his infant daughter on the sofa, and joined the Army. i never heard from him again. it was so fucking tragic...he used two kick drums, so he could play like BOTH drummers in the Allman Brothers SIMULTANEOUSLY.

It's shitty store-bought crud in a jar. Not even worth proper analysis.
And having my mom home now (she's a teacher) all day is no fun. How am I supposed to wake up at 1:30 and start masturbating everywhere if she keeps bugging me!? Asking me what kind of cookies I want her to make and when she'll finish my laundry that I'm not going to actually bring up to my room but just live out of the laundry room!?!? It's absurd!!!

I have a crazy cat lady who lives down the hall from me. She harasses my family and I but she's clinically insane so there's nothing we can do about it. I feel disgusting saying this but I find myself wishing she will pass away.

At least you can go into your kitchen without running into them...
Seriously, I'm cooped up in my room right now. I interacted with these children for like three minutes earlier and it made me realize a lot about myself. I'm not a very conservative person, but I do like the idea of building "character" (yes, a la Calvin's dad). And the best way to build "character" is through surviving isolated incidents of misery. I'm not saying we should randomly torture children, but the last thing these kids need is the indoor pool their dad is currently building. I have no doubt in my mind when I say that his daughter (who is like 8 now) will be a total bitch in 6/7 years time. Then again, their dad is kind of an ass, but like I said, this is more about me than it is about judging them.

I agree, I'm half living with my moms side up in CT and all the kids here are spoiled rich and they're so fucking full of shit. THey have the resources to buy anything yet they're so jaded because of this that they drink and do drugs until they can't tell right from left. I mean I drink and smoke (bud and cigarettes) but I don't make it my fucking life goal to do nothing but overdose on oxy's once a week.

You and me both, brotha'.
There's nothing wrong with doing drugs, but yeah, it's also nice to be productive from time to time. Otherwise shit just gets boring. That's why I play music.

Oh, fuuuuuuuuu- I forgot about that, lol. Jk, I'll be graduating in December and it turns out I totally have all of my gen eds done and I didn't realize it. I thought I would have to take two classes in the summer and a full load in fall to just barely graduate, but I met with an advisor yesterday and it turns out I'm way more comfortable in that regard than I thought (who woulda thought AP Calc counts for two natural science courses?) and only need to take a regular semester in the fall (and get the summer off! Whoop whoop!). This should all be in the happiness thread actually because I'm sick of school.

Just got an email from my mom entitled "Mom has medical info here for you to know re: her colon cancer." I frantically click on it to read "hope that got your attention, I just had a routine colonoscopy and I don't have cancer." OH HEY MOM THANKS FOR MAKING ME THINK YOU WERE GOING TO DIE FOR A SECOND THERE
