waiting is HARD.
i get hard for WAITING.
so.... i don't get the Pods? at $175 for the 60 hp one, why not go $75 more and have a 104 skiff that's deeper?

Ripples is great. I miss mine. Super smooth and really nice having a VCA in it as well

hurm. Pusherman has the kits, but the guy that does builds for me doesn't like ordering from them. because REASONS.
annnnnd Shayze does builds, or sells prebuilt ones, but they come from super far away and take like 2 weeks to hit and cost a fair bit in shipping.
lol. so. like. kinda... HAVE to order a Ripples as well? just to justify shipping costs?
edit - huh. they're 20 hp. that's..... weird. Pulp uses multiples of 6 for a reason. would need 3 of them to not have a blank spot.
HUH.

I have Ripples on lone from a friend. It was essentially my first euro filter. You're not gonna do anything mind blowingly amazing with it, but it does sounds really good. It's also super easy to use and dial in. There's basically no learning curve compared to say a Dual Borg or Gemini 2412 or even the Filter 8.

hurm. well. i'm torn. watched a buncha buncha vids, sounds totes like you describe. good but not amazing. and seems like a solid Bread And Butter filter. but fuck me. why 20 hp? if you couldna get it down to 18 then go up to 24.
that means unless i put 3 20 hp 1u panels in, i'm gonna end up with 2 or 4 empty space. i mean. i guess i could cut a 6 hp tile down, but it would look grimy.

I've added an ER-101, Polaris filter, Wasp filter, and a Doepfer stereo mixer to my rack this week. Barely scratched the surface on any of it but it should be a lot of fun exploring it all.
I'm gonna need more cables.

Malekko anti-Oscilltor is comparable to the STO. I Liked it more than the STO.

Intellijel Dixie2+ (no built-in wave shaping) or Pittsburgh Primary Oscillator (12hp) seem to be decent alternatives.

Been thinking about going from the STO to an oscillator with more outputs (triangle!!) and also has PWM.
The instruo ts-l seems like the one, but it’s so tiny and cramped, if only they made it in 8-10 hp.
Any other suggestions?
Spectrum has what you're looking for, super solid oscillator. It's a sawtooth core oscillator so it'll have a slightly different flavor than the STO.

Ripples is good imo. Not a super unique filter but it sounds nice and the free VCA built in is cool.
