After a series of surgeries in high school and subsequent painkiller use I really don't want to ever have to use them again. The withdrawals were fucking awful. I loved it while I was on them though, probably too much. We had a kid in the grade above me die by cutting duragesic patches and sticking them to his palm.

So Bros, it is looking like my band is about to enter into a promotional/distribution deal with a small, independent label. It is a fairly casual situation, they are not going to own our asses or our music. Several pretty big bands have started out dealing with theses guys like A Day To Remember, Emmure, August Burns Red, plus a couple more. We have 8 songs recorded, and were considering recording 2-3 very soon before this situation presented itself. So...now I think we are going to just master 5 of the 8 songs and release an EP so we can get the promotional wheels rolling. So if any of you guys know of any people that do nice mastering work at a good price let me know!
