I've been playing Dishonored 2. Just got to the very last part in 17 hours and realized I had missed a ton of the game by rushing through it. I decided to restart it and am not sure I'm going to replay the whole thing yet. It's a great game, but in a way it's disappointing as well. I wish it was longer, but it is what it is I suppose.
I loved D1, but so far D2 doesn't grab me.
I can't figure out why. It's got all the same stuff, but somehow I play it for like 30 minutes, get bored, and turn off the console. I started with Corvin, and quit when I goto the boat, restarted with Emily and just ran through to where I'm supposed to get into Addermine (or something) and, well, I dunno.. just sits.
I think I'm mentally not focussed enough for something like that at this time. I'm also mentally uninterested in any thing else I own, and 99% of the people I've been playing with just aggravate me recently so I haven't even gone visible in over a month so they all think I'm dead or something.
Mental issues. Well, more than just issues, I've got subscriptions.
I need something new.

I probably have played Dishonored 1 about 7 times easily, finished D2 the once and never really went back to it. Gameplay was fine, but there wasn't much of an opening to the game and all the Non Lethal alternatives to Boss fights felt way too convenient. In the First, you'd have to do a Favour-for-a-Favour with another Character or stumble upon a Non Lethal solution by accident while in 2 it felt forced maybe? Still the Opening Dunwall escape level and the Clockwork Mansion locations were amazing. Also, maybe i'm just dumb, but I never found any Stores to buy Tranq Darts after like 3 Missions in Dishonored 2 so I played the last 7 missions of the game with an empty Crossbow like some sort of idiot.
I think you might enjoy Dishonored 2 more if you didn't play Deus Ex: Mankind Divided or enjoy Deus Ex if you didn't play Dishonored - and I've beated DX:MD about 4 times now.

Oh, and a Rogue Squadron game on the Switch would be BAAAD AAAASSSS!!! Local competitive/coordinated play would be amazing ...

Remember when they included running around on the ground in Rogue Squadron? Shit was terrible.
But a new one would probably be sweet, or a new Starfox, just as long as it was like the originals.

Anyone try this?
Seems like an ILoveFuzz game. Been meaning to play it for a while. Something relaxing to tune out to at night before bed.

That's one of those games that I've always wanted to try out but never got around to.
I'm really, really, really wanting to play Gravity Rush 2. But Games just aren't in my budget right now.

It's nice seeing new Japanese games get released in the West that aren't overly esoteric or creepy and doesn't make me feel old at 25.

It's pretty pants, framerate drops and controls kind of suck if you haven't got a C-Stick. If you have the Vita, that version is infinitely better if you want a Portable version. Or stick to the HD Collection or PS2 Subsistance version.
Wouldn't mind playing that again though.

i do have a *new* 3ds so i have the built in c stick. that's probably the only reason i like it. i tend to steer away from consoles these days, don't even have a ps2 anymore. and i used to always have a ps2 kicking around.

It's such an effort for me to play videogames. I've had this one for a few months now and still haven't started it. Have had Fallout 4 and the new Civ installed since release and haven't touched those either. Don't know what the fuck is going on. I used to love playing games all the time.

After a rough patch I stopped playing video games for like 3 years pretty much. Just got back into it this September after a few releases that I liked the idea of playing. In that time I've beat two pretty long portable RPG's. I honestly don't think it really matters because for years I couldn't touch a video game without being instantly bored.
I would probably go do something else until ya feel like playing again although I only have portable systems and I don't even have a TV. I spend most of my time doing music related stuff.
