I don't see why you would have to place it in the amps fx loop, but as far as chain goes, I like it up front so I can mangle the loops.

Depends if you like mode one vs two/three better. Generally I put mine after distortion but before modulation. Back when I had a tremolo I would probably sometimes place it before so the choppy sound would speed up with the loop. :!!!:

I really want an expanded version of mode 2 with an fx loop. It would be my dream looper.

Anyone have luck using the ct5 as a straight up pitch shifter? For octaves and such?

I have a few parts in my bands' songs where I'd love to have my melody playing with either an octave down or up harmony at the same time. This would also be drenched in delay/reverb. Just wondering if the ct5 could pull that off. And even if it sounds weird, that might be a cool way to make the part stand out haha

Yeah man, i do this too. It's not too weird. You get all these unique patterns between the Original noted and the pitched note with the delay time at about 11/12. Pretty fun.

Thanks for the responses - I can tell this is going to require some switching around before things get settled. In my current set-up I have the Mobius post section last before the Infinity (plus in the Superego loop via the switcher), so that will be good for CT5 loop mangling and trem acceleration :thumb:

Really looking forward to getting this now :animal:

The update is done using stm dfuse, there are links on my website. This program only runs on windows at the moment. We have tried it through Wine on Ubuntu and it does not work, there are reports though of it working ok booting Windows on a Mac (boot camp etc).

The dfuse program is very small, if you have access to a windows machine through a friend etc this is probably the best bet as we do not plan on releasing updates that often, although I am getting pretty close to releasing the next firmware for rev h/i/j boards, within 2 weeks.

Is the device supposed to show up under target ID in Dfuse?

When you load dfuse, the device should show up in the "Available Dfu Devices" list. It is automatically selected if it is the only one. (likely your case). If you are still having problems let me know.

Same here. I have tabs pulled up of this page and the MA blog that I refresh probably 10 times a day waiting for an update haha. It's exciting in a way. And I have so many ideas of how I'm going to use the pedal. It's hard not being able to do them now! /crybabyrant
