Part of initial sketches for something I'm working on at the minute, acoustic violin recorded with a Taanpura drone.

Got inspired by sleeplessness. Yay for amp modeling I suppose.

Here's part of a song I'm working on, not quite happy with the recorded tone but in person it sounds awesome! Let me know what you think.
It sounds promising. What else did you have in mind for the rest of the song? Instruments, sounds, and the like?

Thanks! I'm going to record a rough outline of the whole thing sometime this week.
Well it starts with heavier riff, using some of the same root notes this section had, theres more of a groove to it.
Then it goes into some more abrasive driving chord progressions, kind of black metalish.
Then the part that's posted
Then a slow doomy dirge that goes into a noise breakdown building from the feedback from my Eau Claire Thunder adding more delay, ring mod and eventually my Mini Ark for pitch shifting craziness
As the craziness fades I have a clean chords with some ring mod and fucked up delay from my Snazzy Wow & Flutter
That eventually goes into a black metal inspired fast paced chord progression that eventually slows and the fades out with the delay self oscillation
I have all the ideas, just need to connect them, program the drums (this will be the hard part for me) and record it all. Some parts will be harmonized, one track the main fuzz sound will be the ECT stacked with a Robot Devil and Sparkle Motion, the other will be both sides for the Seriously Special Twosome. There will be plenty of delay, reverb, phase and Polytope. I haven't found a drum kit I quite like yet on my Maschine so I'm still working on the drum sounds. Would like to add bass but I don't have one.

Yeah, it's woefully unfinished.
Here's a longer version (I'm probably gonna stop writing riffs and make a song out of this now):

Ok. So since I've found a new drummer I'm back to writing for my drum and bass project. Let me know what you think of what I have so far. Uploaded exports from the Guitar Pro files. I think the two done-ish ones I have put on here before while I was working on them.
Done-ish track

Recorded this song earlier this week and I love the guitar/bass sounds and the general feel of it, but can't decide whether it needs vocals or not. Any thoughts? By all means don't bother listening to all 12 minutes, it's all just mad doomz and repeated sections so you won't miss much skipping around. Drums are definitely still a work in progress, working on getting more variation and a better beat in some parts.

I won an Alesis Performance pad on eBay for the drummer in my band, so naturally before he came to pick it up, I had to have a bit of a play.
I ended up messing around with the preset patterns, got carried away and this was the end result.
