Yes. Of the Rack-svts only the SVT2 is all tube.

So by that you can deduce that the OP on TB knows that there is a difference between sweating an all tube amp and a hybrid.

it does have a tube preamp though. This is the major factor when pushing the amp with a fuzz or OD. I dont think there are too many bass players that are pushing there power amp. at least not like a guitarist would.
