Basically no launch titles besides Zelda, and retailers will have almost no stock. Sigh, Nintendo

Rule of thumb, if you aren't a diehard, hardcore Nintendo fan - just wait 2 years.

But Xenoblade 2 is possibly a system seller, the Wii/3DS one is amazingly good.

I didn't buy a WiiU, but Bayonetta 2, Xenoblade Chronicles and Wonderful 101 plus some of HD ports are totally up my alley. I've always been planning to track one down but I normally just get my Nintendo fix on 3DS because Nintendo games are best as a quick sugarfix for 20-30 minutes and play when you get a spare chunk of time.

People like to do the Nintendo doom and gloom, but I am still pretty optimistic about the Home/Portable aspect because that just works. Hell, the Metal Gear 'Transfarring' PS3 to Vita was such a great mechanic that I probably replayed those games more in the last 5 years than when they first came out because it was that convenient.

Not to mention that if you are at all interested then you have to preorder it immediately or have fun dealing with the usual eBay powersellers selling for twice the price. Because Nintendo is well known for making excessive amounts of Hardware and Software.

Yeah, STILL can't get one of these things. Fine with me since I do a ton of emulation anyhow but for those that want one, dumb.

the fact that there's a new shin megami tensei game confirmed and no region lock so i can import games to bypass all the western censorship bullshit we get from Nintendo is enough for me  pretty happy tbh

No region lock means I'll get a Switch pretty soon. For the exact opposite reasons as backwardsvoyager's ;).
