Croatia. We're like, a step away from Greece finance-wise, but our people are too lazy/apathic to get out on the streets. Fucked up mentality and stuff. Crying about the war 20 years ago but not pursuing the criminals that robbed the country cold when it got out of Yugoslavia. Now our governments want to enter the EU, and that's fine, but they are raising prices to the EU standards, and our salary is like, 300% lower than in the EU. People with collage degrees are being sod off cuz they are "overqualified" and they can't get jobs here so they are literally running abroad when they find the chance to. We've got 25% tax on everything (also, with 25% tax and 10% customs fee + shipping, it's still cheaper to order pedals from abroad than it is to buy in a store here. fuck yeah!).
And the people that DO want change, can't get anyone on their feet. Everyone's scared and exhausted.. :/
I'm putting my hopes in the Pirate Party. Last piece of hope I have.
So it's really a bad time to go and try to find a steady job and to get an apartment, cuz, yeah.
I've been thinking of escaping abroad too, but I don't know where. Canada perhaps? Hell I don't know..

But dude, you should take over the country, become a benevolent, nationalist dictator, then after a few years establish a healthy beaurocracy to maintain longevity. And fuck that EU shit until your, and the rest of Europe's, economies are back together.

One of those days:
- Need a new car battery. Like, now.
- Workman's comp for missing 11 days due to falling off a ladder and hitting my head on the counter at work: a whole 88 dollars. If I missed THREE more days, it would've been four times that. Michigan fucking rules. And no one told me until AFTER I went back to work. Infinite regret for being a motivated worker.
- Longboarded 3 miles to campus to deposit shitty workman's comp, and I forget my wallet/ATM card.
- Likely won't make rent and all the unjustified fees from last month
- Shipping out TAFM
GO ON, GOD. MAKE MY DAY WORSE. I DARE YA. I DOUBLE-DARE YA.
edit: it seriously just got like 15 degrees colder and it looks like rain. It was so nice out earlier, so I'm in shorts.

Three wisdom teeth removed.
Hour 7 after the whole ordeal.
Not entirely unpleasant until one point during the thing I remember coming a little too far out of sedation mid last-tooth, and then it was lovely until about an hour after I left the place. When it was ruined by pain. But yeah, it's alright, ebbs and flows. Sucks and doesn't suck. No big.
I am however, fucking famished, and no matter how delicious the ice cream, fruit and yoghurt smoothie I had was, it is not a barbecue/sandwich.
Also bummed about the fact I'd quite like to smoke me some something, but can't do that either. Sucks.
Also, I have some gross, gross shit to look forward to.

Yeah skip the smoking for now, a dry socket would be pretty brutal. Hopefully they at least gave you some groovy painkillers.

Sounds like you're putting the cart before the horse a little bit. Relax and have a good time. Every date doesn't have to end up being a relationship. Especially a relationship that ends with your heart broken before you've even had your first date. No reason to think about tomorrow when there still is today left to enjoy.

If you're really feeling like this... This downward spiral needs to be addressed. Talk to a professional. Not your girlfriend's sister's cousin. Somone who is trained to help you through whatever it is you're going through. Your emotional well being is worth the investment and one of the most important things you can do for yourself.
