Back when I was an evil motherfucker, I used to keep a Richard Nixon style enemies list. I often wonder who was on his list and what they did to get there.

I know people are losing their homes and things, but when a portion of the country just sporadically starts on fire the same time every year and no one seems prepared or knows what to do, it's really hard to feel bad about it.
In fact, living in a part of the country that doesn't really have natural disasters has made me really jaded and uppity about the whole thing.
I find that there's something existentially hysterical about sink-holes, and I just can't explain it.

I honestly think that most people in the US who subscribe to 'Republican' values in 2015 are, at best, abject morons who have no idea about anything that involves the world around them. Legitimately 'drooling at the spoon that feeds them' retards, and the fact that many of them have already procreated makes me want to walk off of a very large bridge or a substantially large building in order to escape the sad future the country is going to reap as a result of taking them seriously as citizens.
If you have more than two braincells to rub together and more than 10 minutes to honestly assess anything they say it's the only inevitable conclusion. Not that you have to agree to the solution proposed by the converse party necessarily but if you think a single thing any of them say is legitimate and you're a person capable of voting in the United States you should probably just kill yourself and your family if you've already had children.
I think this is a pretty reasonable + moderate viewpoint.

Yeah, I agree.
In addition to that, when did thinking out side that box necessarily become "progressive", and why is that a "bad" thing, or at least something to be demonised? More to the point, what the fuck is the world doing if it isn't making progress and why the fuck are we so afraid of that? And how the fuck is that tied to loose definitions of "liberal/libertarian" viewpoints by proxy?
Polarising views of politics, you are confusing me.
