Any idae how to tell the old one from the reissue? I got one today and it's amazing. May be the first analog delay that I keep. Just curious.
No idea, man

I had one, not sure which... at the time needed a different sound, but if I wanted something super murky and grimy, I'd have kept it. I tweaked the hell out of it and it was awesome. I think it might have been the new one and it was still good

Love BP.

would love to see em live. that middle video sent me to zuzu land. listened to lapse about a month or so ago, trippin balls mind me, and was completely immersed by the panning/feedback of guitars

this one really did me in (tommy gun angel is one of THE best opening tracks, ever btw). when those background voices come in at about a minute - that was a pinpoint of true inspiration. to the point of feeling like everything I've done before that moment was garbage lol. stereo life is the truth.
I've actually been eyeing both of those guitars. want to snag a SG like crazy, think I will do it now

Mustangs are organic, they grow to fit your sound. TAD and Bardo Pond makes the Mustang look huge.
If you play blooze,
jazz or hair metal
on a Mustang it will shrink proportionally with your testicles ...
!!! is bardo pond sound mustang + muff?? all that feedback sounds soooo gooooooooooood
Didn't John McLaughlin play a Mustang back when he started playing with Miles...

Is there a way to do parallel blending in one pedal? Like say I wanted to mix my "clean tone" which is a fuck/fairfield accountant with a super heavy fuzz as my always on tone, but blend the fuzz really low.

There are a few different options out there, but I always think of this one because it looks nice, has a good price, and options:

Wounded Paw has a vcool line of *Blender* pedals.
Also the Pigtronix Keymaster and Lehle 3-at-1 can be used to similar effect.

So I have this 1991 gibson Les Paul
It was my dad's. He died a long time ago. So, I never play it because it's so tiny. Like, itty bitty, especially cause I'm used to Bass/Bass VI.
So I want to trade it for something I'll use. A baritone, preferably.
But I don't know anything about it but the year. And he modded it a little so its all blacked out but I have no clue if its a standard, studio, custom, whatever.
Also, should I feel bad that I have this heirloom guitar and I'm trying to off it?
I like to think my dad would be like, "Yeah, you do you."
Also does anyone have a baritone they wanna trade for my Les Paul?

That's my problem with Pauls, too. It feels like Guitar Hero time.
If the instrument is getting no love, then it isn't really worth having. If you could enjoy it even as a display piece, that'd be one thing. Would your father have left you something to agonize over or cause distress? Was he that kind of person? If not, you shouldn't feel bad trying to obtain a better/more useable instrument.

This might not help you now, but whenever I decide to sell something, I catalogue a reason why and if at time of sale I plan n re-buying or what I'd prefer to buy as a replacement.
It feels a little obsessive, but I know where I stand. I know that I don't gel with multifx that have volume spikes between presets. I know the Flanger Hoax is rad but I just won't use one so I shouldn't buy another until I'm ridiculously rich. I know that Holy Grail only has Flerb going for it and lacks stereo jacks. I know I like the Whammy but it's 1/2 tone up(or down) when it is activated means I can't just leave it on and step on it when I need to. etc.

Honestly, it's not for what a baritone will cost (you can get one for the price of a pedlol). Worst case scenario, you can get any Fender style guitar and find yourself a conversion neck like the one Skully sold a while back.
I'd say keep it. I kept my Les Paul which was the first expensive guitar I bought myself and my Jazz Bass which was the first "real" instrument I got, and the first I bought myself. I don't play these much, but it's nice to keep them around. If I ever feel like a good sounding Gibson style guitar, it'd be hard to beat said Les Paul. And my bass sounds glorious, every single one I've tried didn't feel as awesome. I guess it aged well.
