havent been on my thread in a bit :3

ATTTNNNNNNN EGC OWNERRRRRS: have any of you taken the back plate off of yours? im wanting to rewire it to a normal 4-knob gibson style circuit rather than the "blend circuit" that kevin shipped it out with, but i have no idea what to expect when taking out the screws on this back plate.....i feel like it will just unravel and piece apart on top of my bed...haha. im hoping in doing this, it will fix a problem im having where i will roll back the volume knob and lose pretty much all of my tone (where as when i do this with my iceman that DOESNT have a blend circuit, i can roll back and still maintain tone.)

I don't see why that would be an issue.
The pups and bridge are bolted to the neck.
The neck is bolted to the back plate.
The top plate is bolted to the back plate.
You will need to take the nuts off the pots.
I have not done with so I don't know what will happen but it seems easy enough.
Contacting EGC is probably the safer bet.

I took mine apart...out of sheer curiously.
You'll need various size hex keys, and a clean well lit surface to work on.
Some of those screws are SMALL!
I think your loss of tone lies in Kevin's use of linear rather than audio taper pots.
All the sweep seems to be from 10-7 right?

Does he always use linear pots?
