RHCP: they were annoying when they were bratty kids. as bratty middle-aged men they're unbearable.
i'm trying not to go up to a PT-2/PT-3. if i get a bigger board i'm just going to want to get more stuff to put on it, and i have no money.

Yeah, but I admit I dug them back in the day. By that, I mean the one time I saw them in '95 on the one hot minute tour.
GIVE IN. I got 2 fuckin PT PRO's sitting here and I still need a 4 x 8' sheet of plywood

I was never the biggest RHCP fan....didn't hate them...but we covered Readymade. That song is legit. I dig some of their older stuff. It gets a bit....old and the same after a while. Flea is also Justin Timberlake but a decade older.

Flea was a big factor in me wanting to be a bass player when I was a jitter bug. Now...I respect the dude, don't want to sound like him or play like him, but he has done a lot for bass as in making it noticed by average nonmusicians. I am sure some of it is him just being Flea and some is his playing/tone. BloodSugarSexMagic was good.
Anthony Kiedis...hard to handle too much of him though.

Kiedis is AWFUL. every song i liked when i was a kicken i can listen through until the "singing". then i'm off to other music. horrible skeelz, godAWFUL lyrics. just.... painful.
