Is that what the kids are calling IT these days?

I wish it was, but not only is she Mormon, she's never really dated before. So, things are progressing VERY slow on that front even for being 100+ miles away from each other...

Finally managed to start a math rock band (impossible where I live, took 2 years to find a drummer), and rehearsal/writing is going really well
Plus I'm seeing Godspeed you! black emperor tonight
And for the first time in a while I actually don't feel like changing anything about my guitar/pedalboard/amp rig apart from replacing some pesky cables, feels good man

Work called last night and offered me a promotion: 6 figures a year, paying my wife's tuition, and no more travel. Only catch? I have to move to the DC/Baltimore area, which is where my wife and I were looking anyway.
And the awesome drummer that moved away from me lives up there, so we'll likely start jamming again. Life is crazy, dudes.

Yeah, I'm still a little wary. It feels too good to be true, even though I trust my company. My wife was speechless when I told her.

I just want to say I love my fiance.
Didn't get the job I interviewed for, but I'm not really concerned with it.
Just full of happiness today. Last pre-marriage Valentines Day.
Going out to dinner tonight for free on some gift cards.
Going to sit and watch Parks and Rec with her after.
Bought her some flowers this morning, she loved them. Was almost late for work but it was worth it.
We work together but today drove seperately because she had some job shadowing to do for a job at a hospital.
I hope she gets it, because she deserves it. She's dressed so professionally today.
