The microkorg is a good entry into synths, in that you can sit there and tweak the presets and good useful sounds fast. But for building patches from scratch, I can't stand its interface. I have it at home for my play-around synth. But when I really want to sit down and write the patch-from-god, I use the Virus/Nord combo in our studio.

Yeaaahhh, it's another one of those pedals that I've been lusting after forever until I finally just said fuck it and decided to replace my Empress Trem. I AM EXCITE.
