after being here since the beginning of October, one of my cousin's cats finally came into my room and curled up with me for a nap. it was the nicest hour i've had in a loooooong time

and now i'm laying in bed listening to the new MBV with the Puppy Bowl on in the background. MY LIFE TODAY IS GOOD.

So, I've been voluntarily homeless for like, six weeks now. Living out of my backpack n' shit. Playin my uke instead of pedz, occasionally playing like someone's p-bass for a couple days. But anyway, I've got to tell y'all that life is good, when you let yourself go as you've been taught to and start being yourself. You've gotta look out for number one, and anyone else you can, because they'll take care of you, too. We're all family.

I love you dudes. I miss ya. But unplugging from screens and outlets and shit...can be therapeutic. Get an acoustic and go play outside, if you don't already. Say hay to strangers. Soon enough, all the hate will disappear. Imagine a world, full of love!

I was out on a walk listening to "rockets fall on Rocket Falls" by GY!BE. Just as the climax hit in the second half of the track, the warning bells came on for an oncoming train. I ran up next to the tracks to meet the train, feeling it run by upon my arrival. Staring at the blur, absorbing the rumble, surrounded by droning guitars. I was in heaven. The train passed and so did I.
