Tokyo ESP wasn't bad.

I'm at the point now of catching up on all the shows i didn't like the look of at the start of the season that actually turned out to be pretty good.
Caught up on Akame ga Kill which is actually really entertaining, currently on Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun which is decent too. Next will be Barakamon.

I just caught up on Akame ga Kill yesterday. I think it's decent. Not amazing or anything, but ok.

For how typical it is and impossible to take too seriously on an emotional level i shouldn't like it at all, but i did 13 episodes in one day without getting bored so that's like at least an instant 7/10 to me.
I like that they kill off characters or shift the focus away from them before they get boring, it's a really well-paced show i think.

Yeah i'd say it's worth the time. Especially if you're into weird SHAFT animation like later in the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei series.
People carry on about it being the best or worst thing ever too much. It's a pretty dark series and a decent deconstruction of the whole 'magical girl' thing. 8/10 for me.
Its only 12 episodes and you can skip the first two movies really. The third one is a bit of a headfuck, worth watching though.

Mekakucity Actors did end up being a bit disapointing to me though. Sort of disliking the direction they went with aside they could have fixed a lot of problems with the show by simply making it a little bit longer.

I've decided that the next custom pedal I get has to be NGE theme, a Unit-01 Fuzz would be amazing.

Man that show started off so promising, i'm still angry at how much they fucked up the pacing and plot-dumped everything at the end.
I'll probably read the LN's soon once i've forgotten enough of it.

That would be awesome. If there was any way to get the entire ending of EoE on a pedal, I would have done it.

I started watching Girls Und Panzer again just because I felt like it. How can a show be so fucking stupid and yet so great?

I'm kinda curious about that, having recently finished Kamen Rider Gaim, and this came up whenever talk of Gen Urobuchi's previous work came up. I love Gaim, so that makes me open to more stuff "The Urobutcher" has done.

Talking of Tokusatsu & anime, I watched the first episode of Garo: Honoo no Kokuin today. I'm a huge fan of the live-action Garo series, and the anime tries to keep the dark tone, but maybe tries a bit too hard at times. I'll try and watch the whole thing where I can.
