i was thinking of wacked-out anime kind of sounds. but yeah, ugly would be baked into the concept. i figure it would go with someone's hideously expensive DBA note destroyers.

I already had a bi phase when I was a teen, so I don't need a pedal

The Mutron BiPhase reissue has been a saga. They put some out a year or two ago and they all got resold by flippers for like $2000.

Isn't that the story of the past two years in general though?  :grumpy:

Some of those early Bi-Phase reissues were just rebranded Prophecysound units as well? Weren't they? :snax:

Not rebranded but they are Mikes design and board. I don't believe he made them though.

"The octaves themselves track seamlessly with zero latency" --> that's a bold statement for a digital pedal.. :idk:
Plus on the website there's no mention about polyphony or what (it doesn't seem to be polyphonic from what i heard, just watched a small portion on that video)

Zero latency violates, like, physics and stuff. But it could be very low latency to the point where you don't perceive it. Especially if you're using the momentary modes where there is enough room for error in your own physical movements.

i'm waiting for the video where a weathered hired-hand Cubano percussionista plays ritmos while Jack hits a chord, freezes it with the Gamechanger pedlol and kicks back with a blue slushie ice vape...blowing vape rings in time with the montuno. :trippy:

hehe

The concept behind the pedal seems ok actually, I could see myself using that (I use a ricochet for similar stuff and it'd be nice to have up/down both available sometimes). But the book, and the marketing stuff about Jack... I'm not, not interested in some sort of future normal run.

So the telegraph switches are just pressing down on a normal momentary stomp? :?:

Also, running fuzz>octave instead of octave>fuzz in the demo :?:

And it's 400 bucks :?:

haha I would assume the switches are just like the other telegraph ones here, that do work like an old telegraph switch: https://coppersoundpedals.com/product/telegraphstutter/

I imagine the bit underneath the button is just an end stop/spring to stop you stomping down too far and bending something.
