Really, no love for Trollhunters? I'm just about done with the first part. And, the Tales of Arcadia reveal blew my mind.

Punisher was super good. definitely the most stable and concise story Netflix Marvel has told. the others, even if they start strong just.... meander too much.
the characters were way more realistic in their motivations and interactions and responses as well.
end of series spoiler -
i looooove that they did Jigsaw, made it BRUTAL, and gave them a reason to hate each other. even if as soon as they called him Billy The Beaut i was like, yeop. Jigsaw.
but every time some male is referenced as pretty in thr Punisherverse my reaction is, That's A Jigsaw.
showed neat character growth that Frankie didn't just murder everyone around him. for once.

also, about halfway through the Future Mans thing. it started baaaaad, but it's not awful. got some funny parts, decent enough to watch whilst working.

Marvel's Runaways is
really bad.
It's as if the writers binge-watched shitty teen angst shows, coupled that with some awful preconceptions about millenials, and decided to get horribly drunk before writing the scripts.

Is anyone else watching Strong Girl Bong-Soon? It's really fun and I like it a lot.

Westerns are my favorite genre, so I'm interested in Godless, but the previews didn't match up to the premise, in my mind. I might give it a shot. I tried to watch Hell on Wheels, but it was just trope after trope after trope within the first 15 minutes, and gave up on it. I'm wondering if Westworld will remain western-ish when it comes back or if it's going to move to Samurai World.

ugh. i kinda hated Westworld. strong, interesting start. got silly and meandering FAST. and the "twist"? thppbbpbpppttt.
but i just finished Future Man and i thought it was surprisingly good. the first 3'ish episodes are meh to garbage, but it finds a voice and it was entertaining. i actually got a bit invested in a character or two and am curious about season 2.

You should totally give Godless a shot. They way they described was different from what it was but in a good way. I'd put it right up there with Deadwood.

So excited that they're finally going to conclude Deadwood, but I won't complain about another decent western!

Watched the first three episodes of the German murder/mystery/sci-fi show Dark, and it's really cool so far. Looking forward to seeing where they take it!
