Gonna subscribe to this thread for the regular drooling over all the VI's here. Really need to get myself one.

That's exactly how/why I got one. This thread. It hung me by the ankles, picked up the pennies and bought a BassVI on my behalf.

Ruthless thread.

Month and a half since my last post in this thread and what have I bought in the mean time? Exactly:

Already had a few upgrades when I bought it (mustang bridge/ CIJ tailpiece), but probably gonna swap the bridge for a staytrem and the white pickguard for a tortoise one and maybe ditch the strangle switch and make it a series/ parallel one. But so far I'm one damn happy camper.

Black and tortoise VI with a Staytrem :thumb: You'all soon be joining the club we have with UC. Our VI are identical except for knobs and stickers.
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

Here's my Bass VI (and fretless bass). Recently added the hardtail and swapped the knobs from the fretless. I also highly recommend the Staytrem bridge.
I'm thinking about switching the pickguard at some point, but I'm not sure what colour I'd want to go with :idk:

Gotta say, I'm not totally digging the Lollars in my VI right now. I had Quarter Pounder Duncan Jaguar pickups in my other VI and I like those better...big, deep, piano-like cleans that grind up nicely with dirt. The Lollars are too dull sounding and so low in output that I really need to change how everything is set up quite significantly. I might be looking to change them in the next couple of months when I can afford it.

Two steps forward, one step back. Just after this photo went to read her the guard, slipped with the drill and put a small crack in the guard *doh*

Not sure if I've posted this thing before. Definitely my favorite VI style I've played. Our old pal Magiclawnchair bought this from me once upon a time, and eventually I got it back!
