Some company, think it was Tred Air UK or something like that, made creepers with normal thickness soles. They were awesome.

it's super unlikely I'll wear these just cause I cant see them being very comfy with those soles. BUT I could be wrong, either way, I figure they'll make amazing before and after pics and might bring me some business doing this.

a friend of mine and I asked around on a lot of forums for beaters, we got SO many responses.
this one dude had some OG 1s from, what, 83, 84? but he wanted like $300 for them, so no way
but there were definitely some gems in the bunch

then there was the dude with the 07 stealth 5s with the soles and midsoles crakced beyond repair and the leather torn on the toebox, asking 125 lol...
theres a dude with some raptor 7s that are seriously seriously beat and sharpied on, I dont doubt I could do some nice restoration on them, probs not minty but definitely presentable, but he wanted like 80? yeah right
if I could snag em for under 40 shipped I'd do it, but even then, they're such a pain to work on

We need a shoe fixing thread, I have no God damned idea what I'm going on that front. Not bad at buffing formal shoes but sneaks??? No clue.

just picked up an old pair of zoom phenoms for 25bucks
pics when i get em

I can get into sneaker restoration if youwant, but honestly it's really just painting what needs painting and treating what needs to be treated
only use Angelus leather paint and try to match the colors as best as possible
it's more of patience thing, even strokes of thin coats, over and over again allowing for drying in between then treating it if needed

Had a pair of black and white ones in highschool.
I also stupidly passed on a cheap pair last summer in Alabama at this place called "Reclaimed Luggage." They get all the lost/found and unclaimed luggage from Airports, then sell it. Mostly at good prices. Anyway, there was a pair of leather ones, in true blue, with a black top coat. As they age, which they were some-what already, the blue starts popping through. They were rad.
