So as of yesterday I keep getting calls/emails/texts from random businesses wanting me to buy magazines/go to their for-profit, internet college/other random shit I'll never do. I've been filling out a lot of online job applications so now I'm thinking that some dickhole business is selling people's info. I don't know how I can know for sure and I can't even remember where I applied to online in the last week other than the hospital.

my best friend's grandma died last night. which sucks first of all, for very obvious reasons.
we had this big mock trial competition today. the case was about death and stuff, and a family member who is 'grieving' is called to the trial. so my best friend is also my cocouncil. yeah, we bombed our trial. she was fighting back tears when listening to his testimony. i don't even give a shit that we did badly, but she was just so visibly distraught during the entire trial and i just wanted it to end.

On a lighter note of irritation, I was going to buy a record on discogs last night for $18, but was all "eh, I'll get it tomorrow." SOME ASSHAT BOUGHT IT AND THE ONLY OTHER COPY IS LIKE 60 EUROS. THAT'S LIKE INFINITY DOLLARS. FUCK YOU RECORD COLLECTING ASSHATS. I have the CD version, but still...

I bid $20 on a sweet ass record on Ebay and the next day some dude jumped the bid up to $50 IN ONE BID. I was heated. Sometimes you need the CD and vinyl versions to feel content goddamnit.
