lol. i thinnnnnnk? it takes two (preferably slope'y) moving cv inputs and in rhythmically useful ways logics the SHIT out them for gate and pitch outs.

i am SUPER excited to explore it, word on the street (mostly from Hainbach) is that it's the beauty of Happy Accidents Chaos with a more Reliable Results container.

this is what got me super moist for one -

also, i dunno WHAT the fuck i was thinking trying to downsize without the FLXS. that thing is so damn amazing.

I played around with running Metropolis as a drum sequencer for Plaits today with Stages doing some pitch sequencing and it worked really well. Had never considered using Metropolis for anything besides basic oscillator sequencing, but I should have known it would be good at that too. Hadn't even started modulating it's internal parameters yet.
Also ran the OP-1 into Disting's filter, which was being modulated by two LFOs from Stages. It all became a super cohesive and groovy setup, instant half hour jam session.

It's a really nice feeling having a rack that doesn't have any big functional gaps and that can merge pretty well with non-modular stuff too.

awesome!

yeah, i've dabbled with using the FLXS for drums. it's.... okay. Deluge is wayyyyyy better since i can see all 4 gate out patterns at the same time.

but was using FLXS as a super specific yet evolving CV out into the pitches of the Shard. MAGNIFIQUÉ.

also, at a tat thing real quick then home for thisssssss -

WOOT.

Cs-L should be here tomorrow. Will likely take the place of my E352, which I'm not digging on as much as I thought I would.

it's such an interesting take on noise design. very different than any other module i have. sooooooo looking forward to learning her ins and outs, plumping up her tail-feathers, kicking the tires off of her.

like a GOAT.

in HEAT.

Just got my Persuadatron in and took it for a spin. It rules, and sounds great. Nice blue LCD screen, row of red blinkenlites, and so much graphics that it can blend into a white rack just as easily as a black one. I'm in the heart of Phoenix and got 43 stations on the first scan, using a 12 ft. cable. Lots in spanish. Pulled out the antenna cable and still getting plenty without it. Really perfect set of features, love the muting tricks, and all the tasty flavors of noise bursts, and volume control makes it pedal friendly! Heavenly. Really glad I waited until now to get a radio module, this is the one.

As a source of unexpected audio (like Radio Music) it's pretty awesome. Quick gates letting in little grains of noise and music (often mixed)...had that going through a reverse reverb and a HPF delay. So many dreamy sounds coming through and no idea what they could be from. The mexican/spanish stations are a gold mine for both aggressively noisy and brilliantly musical soundbytes.

Great news, it looks like my prayers and bitching for a dedicated and somewhat simple euro pitch shifter have finally been answered. Getting one of these asap:

holy butts that sounds AWESOME. ORDERED.

i liked the Pico DSP, but just didn't like the flow of use? kinda too much jammed into too small a space (giggety)? this looks awesooooommeeeee.

hells yesh on the pitch shifting, hells YESH on the normalled FX 1 -> FX 2.

Radio Samplins - no, yesh. that sounds HELLA fun. and after falling butts deep in love with Shard woot more his modules.

STOP TEMPTING ME DAMNIT.

also, reverb tank question -

mines was working fine, then i put in the Scanned which isn't right above it (have the tank velcro'd inside my case behind the top row, far right) and now i get a high pitched whine out of it. will the Spin chips in the Dual FX bother it? i was thinking about putting it on the inside of the side of the case on the right, hoping that would be far enough away from digital interference.

this is my setup right now (as soons as i can get a 1uo_C) -

Image

and i'd like to keep the 1u Reverb over far right, but the cables to the tank aren't the longest, so if i have to move the tank too far i'll have to reposition the module.

suggestions? thoughts?
