I highly recommend the Echo. I've owned the El Cap as well as the Skreddy, and the Skreddy is still on my board. It's a fantastic delay. My only gripe is that it isn't tap tempo, but that's not difficult to get around. The modulation on it is so sweet...I can't get rid of it until something WOWs me.

Welp, caved and bought a Polytope. I'm nearing an almost zen status for my pedalboard. I'll have pretty much all the sounds I desire at my fingertips when the Polytope and Randy's Revenge are here. Then I'll just start collecting fuzz!

Overrated I don't know, but overpriced for sure. I would rather just buy an El Cap again for S-O-S looping, but the Loop Junky is just more alluring because

a. I've never owned one
b. I can't afford it

As a former loop junky owner, I can personally attest to its legit-ness; It's worth the hype, but the price is certainly less agreeable.
