  You rang?

I've played one - great amp. I don't remember it that well, as I only tried it once. Can't really compare it to other amps without going back and plugging into it again.

But how is it fancy? It's not even that expensive of an amp! Do you mean because it's nice looking? I confused.

The Epi is okay, not great, not bad either. Depending on what your alternatives are I can give you a better idea. I don't think just a ton of hem were sold, so there isn't likely to be many people with a ton of experience with them.

I know a lot more about their newer amps, but that's because they are one of my clients.

I didn't answer for the same reason as Mudd stated. I will say that I do love GK stuff and he wants to trade for it...

True true. Gah. I'm almost thinking of just keeping the GK head. I was trying to justify not keeping it. But everything has kind of financially work out to where I could keep it now if I want. Sigh. I do dig the shit out of the tone.

I've got a GK 210 400RB IV and I love it. Drummer has a GK 1001RB with a full GK stack that I use from time to time and I love that too. It's really up to you if you and if you're comfortable taking the risk (of trying the Epi)... Especially since no one seems to know much about them.

Are you going for a different tone? The GK is a great amp....do you want a tube pre? All tube? Something with more dirtzz?
