But I read it again... holy shit. Wanna try that.

How do you use the LPF? Obviously I kow what the pedal does, but I'm curious as to your application of it.

Big synthy sweeps, dynamic notched-filter fuzz toanz, volume-sensitive modulation (who needs a phaser? not this guy), mutrony-quacky things, modulation for the DL8's echoes,

It's really an inspiringly good pedal. It's fun to set the DL8 to Reverse, and with the Xerograph on and an upsweep on the EP2, I get these step-up filter echoes. Really fucking cool.

behndy, if you are thinking about it, I'd also recommend just a lil baby true bypass looper, to put one of the channels through, in case you wanna switch it off in a second. I think loopmaster does them for like $35

I really wish someone would do an involved strictly-reverse delay pedal. Oh Jimmy Page, trying to take credit for everything..

After some monkeying around today, I think I like the VPjr after the Xerograph in my chain.

How much more black can that board be? The answer is none. None more black.

Nice board, nice dog. :thumb:
Is the dog playing bass?

seeing as i quit my band a few months ago, i thought i'd take this evening to rebuild my pedalboard....
and build a proper board on the pedaltrain.

started the night by sorting and organizing my piles
Image
I used to have 10 full bins, but i've sold off what was overkill. still have too much.

finished wiring up this one:
Image
chain is FuzzProbe > FZ-2 > DD-7 > ODB-3 > PH-3 > Silver Rose > Chosmichorus > VMSD > Hartman > HOmk3 > SodaMeiser > RRR > SFT
there's a ISO5 & PP2+ under the board.
this was my gigging board since i have a hard case for it.
the boss pedals bypass doesn't seem to affects the signal much, we'll see with further testing.
but i had lots of fun jamming with it for a little 30 mins before.
I might add/remove things as i spend more time on it. so far the only thing i'd like is a Dr.Scientist Cleanness at the end of the chain.

i'll finish up the second board tomorrow
I'll have to to solder a few longer cables for it though
Image
the aux switch will send tap to all 5 eventides, but only bank up/down to the top mod&time factors...
I noticed tonight that the lats on the pedaltrain are awkwardly spaced, lots of wasted space
(i only used this board as a platform for some casual home jamming with a couple pedals, never wiring up a full board.)
and ziptying the power supplies underneath looks to also be a challenge if i want to give the IEC power access easy.
i'll figure something out tomorrow.
but it's going to be fun getting my dual sync'd modulation going with the two modfactors.
my plan for the chain is:
Workhorse > Modfactor > Moth > Hyperion > Timefactor > SMBH > Pitchfactor > englishman > WIIO > AD900 > SilverKiss > Space > Modfactor > Monarch
we'll see how it wires up.

That's an awesome lot of stuff. What are the pedals with the brushed enclosures in the closest middle bin? I think one of them says HO on it?

it's a local builder who's built under the name of StereoScope & later as ElectroDrone
the four of his I have are Harmonic Overdrive, Harmonic Overdrive MKIII, Fuzz II & Fuzz IV. I used to have them as original colored enclosures but sold them in my first big pedal purge... luckily enough when i got back into pedals they were the few that I really missed, got in touch with the guy and got him to build me these again.
they really sound great, especially the HOmk3. i'm never gonna let them go again.

Oink has more VL power supplies than some people I know have pedals, awesome pics! :thumb:

I'd like to see univalve's pedal collection all together in one place as well.
