HOLY FUCK YOU GUYS. I got my Dual Borg in today and it's a god damn beast. I had the Filter 8 in a couple months ago and was excited, but it wore off quickly. It's good, sure. But the Dual Borg just blows it out of the water for me. I guess there's something to be said for the classic architectures it's based off of.

It's a combo Buchla (the B) 292 and Korg (the ORG) MS-20 double filter. What I've already found is that I'm loving the double filter sound and I should have been chaining filters before. Also, the ability to sweep from LP to HP is so nice to change the sound rather than changing the jack to make that change.

I'm impatiently waiting on Perfect Circuit to receive their shipment of R2s and then dispatch mine. Really hoping it arrives in time to use during my set Sunday evening, but the prospects are looking unlikely. Where'd you order from Muse?
Also if y'all didn't know I put up an album of modular synth tunes!! It's up and streaming at my bandcamp -
http://baremountain.bandcamp.com, I would love any feedback y'all have :~)
Of course the day I released it I came up with a gorgeous patch that would have definitely made the cut if it was in the pile of raw material I sifted through for the release, but I guess I'll have to save that for next time

I meant "on the way" as in it'll eventually be on the way haha. Ordered from my faves at Control. Haven't gotten the shipping notice just yet, but the order is confirmed and they definitely received the batch of modules today (their site lists them as "in stock" currently). Depending on where you live, you could get it much sooner than from PCA, who tend to be a little slow on the start of the shipping process.
Took a quick listen to your stuff too. Very interesting textures throughout. logging off was particularly wild. I'm excited to see what you do with Rene2!

I got the Eowave Quadrantid Swarm today. Total surprise since I never got a tracking number from them. I've only messed with it a little so far and I haven't been immediately blown away by it. It sounds good and the poly mode is really fun, but I'll probably end up flipping it like I was planning. I have to spend some more time with it though

Ahh, gotcha gotcha. Yeah I was gonna go with DetMod, but worra informed me I could snag 10% off at PCA & the savings sounded like a good deal at the time (though I should know by now how slow they are on the shipping front), but I'm antsy now that folks are getting them in hand. Oh well, Tempi firmware is updated as of yesterday, so as soon as it's in I can rack it up and go to town. I suppose it's just as well that it's not out yet, as I've got band practice tonight and tomorrow, I just wanna use it for my set on Sunday.
And thank you! Logging off was a lil experiment from my first day with Marbles, basically I set the rate super mondo fast (I can't remember what oscs I was using, sounds like Mangrove and/or DPO??), let it ride for 30 sec or so, and then just slowly slowed it to a snail's pace over the rest of the track.

Thank you

I hope you dig the rest, too!
