I just realized that I only missed one major paper for this class, and the other is due on friday. Both papers are required to pass and it's already too late to receive any points for the first one. Although I can still possibly barely pass the class if I turn in both papers and ace the second one.

Despite (at this this point) it being a victory, I feel like that fits right here a anyway because I'm still practically losing. Point is I woke up nice and anxious this morning. And that Cracked list is perfect for me today

Maurice Sendak died yesterday, and nobody seemed to notice. He was mentioned on Colbert, and a few other places, but it seems like everyone's already forgotten one of the best children's literature author's of all time.

The man didn't try to paint childhood out to be magic.

He didn't hide that sometimes things suck, and that people make mistakes.

After a gig last night, I walk into a 24 hr. MickeyD's and this asshat in front of me acted like he'd never been in a MickeyD's before. I'm beat, and he's ordering at a speed described only as MAXIMUM SNAIL and then runs into the bathroom to check with his buddy to see what he wants, who then comes out of the bathroom and wastes even more time being confused at there being more than one option for "chicken sandwich."

Hurry the fuck up, citizens. I WANT MY TWO BACON MCDOUBLES, MY CHERRY BERRY CHILLER, AND MY NETFLIX'D STAR TREK TNG, BITCH!

That is all. :)

Man, I can totally see myself being in that situation. Some little snots just bumped me in line at the gas station yesterday. Some people just suck at being people. True story.

If you take longer than 5 seconds to begin making your order you should lose your place in line.

I generally dig the one up the street from me. It's old and has no drive through, so it stays open on the inside all night. McDiner!

And jfrey, YES.

Hi insightfool25. Haven't seen you around before. Welcome to ILF. I dig the tunes. If you haven't already, you should post over in the Let's hear your music thread.

Thanks! Glad you dig. Will definitely do that. Yeah, I signed up years ago and then it slipped my mind. Devi mentioned it the other day and I thought, "I should really get on there more often." And here I am. :thumb:

So... My parents might have gotten married when they found out my mom was pregnant with me. There's a few things that make me believe that, the big one being that my sister and I both vaguely remember them adding an extra year to their anniversary number when we were little. I was born in October, nine months prior would be New Year's (more or less), and they were married in late March. I've kind of been suspicious of it for a few years, but I've never dwelled on it until recently.

The idea kind of changes my image of my parents, and makes me a lot less angry at them for a lot of things. It also kind of affects my self view, which is weird, because I don't think it should.

I'm upset over the idea of being lied to over something like that, thus the post here. It's just speculation still, though. :?:

Think I might have Asperger's. I did a (non-diagnostic) test. Also I have grapheme -> color synaesthesia which is overrepresented in the autism spectrum. Also it seems to fit (and if so explain a lot of) my life.
