sweet. word on the street is the Mono Cases Pedaltrain stuff'll be available around the middle of June. i am EXCITE. the PT Pro soft case is a'ight, but the Mono bass case i have is FANTASTIC. looking forward to having good protection without all the weight of a hard case.

How tough are the cases? Car to gigs ok? Tour bus ok? Flight ok?

That’s quarter-assed at best.
haven't got my hands on one, i'm a bit of buds with a dooder that works at Mono so i might get to go check them out before they hit. if they're like the Bass bag i have than car to gig fine, in the back of a van fine on top of stuff, i wouldn't check a bass in ANY case if i could avoid it, but definitely not this one. in a tour bus should be fine as long as it's on the top.
they make hybrid hard soft cases, so they have INSANELY more protection than most soft cases, but they aren't going to stack as neatly as a hard case. for me the trade off of feeling like my bass is safe and being able to put it on my back is way worth it. but i don't travel a lot for gigs.

yah. i'm not playing out right now, but i felt safe with my Mono bag when we were. but that was all clubs not house parties. that shit would make me nervous. if i was traveling around a lot...... i dunno. if i'm flying, i'd bring my bass in a Mono bag on the plane. if there was some silly tourbus situation i'd get a hard case with custom cut foam like that.
we're doing this get drunk (everybody else, i'm boring, don't drink) and jam out at where my drummer grew up in the STICKS so it's cool to be stoopid noisy all night in a couple weeks. i'mmmmmmmmmmm....... bringing a beater Dean 6'er not my Dingwall.

I still have ONE that I used for my "good" MTD (whichever I picked on my mood that day) that I would bring to gigs, then just regular cases for my 2 backups.
