I hear yA on the female jealousy. I had a long talk with the wife about how much time and effort I put into music related endeavors. I had to tell her that it's not a matter of her coming before music, or music coming before her. It is about passion and enjoying life. Without music I would be a shell of a person and would not have a heathy state of mind to share with her. With it I am a more vibrant person and the passion I have grows and the time with her is better. hard to put into words but I think I got it across to her as she later suggested selling the Fiat to fund the band van

I've had this exact discussion with my fiance using the exact same points. But if you've ever tried to use reasoning with a woman who is 5 months pregnant you can guess how that turned out.... :picard:

It just seems to me that positives build positives and the inverse is also true. Hard to rationalize or prove but it seems to pan out in reality.
I'm starting to sound like a hippy over here aren't I? :facepalm:
