Saving grace is the neck. Ebony, split diamonds and 25.5" scale.
The viperous shape is an optical illusion due to the photo's angle.
Holes will be filled and more suitable components will be employed.

That's the plan, at least.

Here's Gibson's vision:

I used to have one of these. It was awesome.

Just added a Creamery Sonic 60 pickup to the Dirge Telemaster. Love that thing. It's warm as hell, chords sound rich, and it works fantastically with pedals :joy:

Also switched out the old Glendale bridge for a new one with the needed hole. and added a control plate with 2 stacked knobs so i have individual tone and volume pots for each pickup. Control plate is a little off though, so it lifts up a tiny bit in the middle.

Seriously great work on this piece. Whenever I bring it in to work at the studio, everyone stops by and wants play with it. Comfy as hell. Need to take it in for a quick tune-up. I play with light strings and i can't for the life of me get the low E to stop buzzing. Thinking about getting a custom bone nut while I'm at it. Thanks again for indirectly getting this beast into my hands!

I love how that single bar bridge pickup looks with the pickguard and the rest of the colors.

Just scored this steed from dr. poopenstein over in the doom room. Needed some functional knobs and beefier pickups for my liking, but I'm in love, feels like my '71 stang in the playability department, and can get the sounds I finally seek as I've been reluctant to mod my vintage stang.

With only a face a mother could love, or in my case a "father", I present my new J' stang.
