Amen to that.....had a chipwich fuckfest last night after some tasty Chinese food. Shit was FANTASTIC.

I spent a little time on Talkbass yesterday. I hated it. So... boring. Or just plain rude. I love you dudes and dudettes

So I've officially decided that I am in love with playing fretless now... I thought it was going to be really hard to play the Kramer when it came, having never played a fretless before, but it really is a nice challenge and good practice for me. I actually messed up more and hit flat notes when I was LOOKING at the board

Yeah, fretless is delicious. Wanted one since I started playing bass and always put it off (for one reason or another)

I was looking at a gorgeous Modulus Quantum fretlesssy badass the other day at a local shop. Just.....MMMM.

I'm really thankful that this one has the fretmarks at least, I think I'd be totally lost if it didn't, however.

And I noticed when playing that it's definitely got more of a PWUK sound to it when I pluck the strings. It's a really interesting sound. And so smoooooooth to slide

Have you tried sliding harmonics on a fretless? One of the perks fretless dooders get to have..... it sounds so great and a LOT of fun.

No I haven't tried that yet!
I got to play the Kramer for about an hour last night before my mom went to bed. I won't get another chance to play it (or really be home for that matter) until Tuesday night but I will definitely try that!

Yep. Just google a little Victor Bailey and sliding harmonics and youTOOB should pop up some awesome vids.

I'm really affraid at the moment to turn my big head and cab up past 2 at the moment with my bass. It's a guitar cab and on 2 I can hear the speakers begging me to stop whatever I'm doing. BUT IT JUST DEMANDS TO BE LOUDER DAMNIT
