I had a recording session this weekend and convinced my clients to run a drum machine through the Pretty Years instead of their Maxon overdrive :)*
We put it on a hi-pass, cutoff low, res high, and some sick FM. It's a total ambient track, then this sick fucked up drum machine enters out of nowhere and assaults the bass freqs with some filth.

I've said it before, but I find a place to use this in absolutely everything I record - it's quite likely this is my favorite pedal of all time.

This is the setting I posted in the Pretty Years hax thread last night  . I should run my Volca FM through this setting to see how it works out.

Yeah, I think I saw someone post a similar setting a few days ago as well. I haven't really directly referenced y'all's exact settings dial-wise, but I read 'em and spit back out whatever bits my spongebrain absorbs. I actually have filled out 4 of those preset sheets, but I don't think I've ever gone back and looked through them, which I totally need to do some time

Oooh.... sweet offer thanks! Yeah sounds like maybe that one should stay on that side of the ocean or go for crazy $$$ elsewhere... but if I don't find one through other means I might still be interested even though that price is ouchy. But yeah thanks!

Yep, with customs (dicks!!) it cost a grand total of 448 dollars.

Shit happens.

Still, easily the best dirt ever that isn't the Elements.

vidret wrote:The thing is I just want to sell it to make his money back really, if it didn't get stuck in customs I think he'd for sure sell it to you for 300.

It's not repaired yet, so I'll let you know when it is and you can decide then instead! Should be around mid february. (the repair is minor, but I'm not gonna touch this thing with a soldering iron).
maybe i can grab the one that needs the toggle repair and act as broker between yall, especially if ritz is in the US?
