I really like their 1u lineup. It’s exactly the kind of modules that I wouldn’t want taking up space in my rack. I already needed attenuators/attenuverters and am I/O module for my rack so why not just make it part of the case?

Whenever their 1u sequencer and the oscilloscope come out... immediate buys. Super useful and fun additions.

i'm still annoyed there's different formats to a..... format.

i'm planning on some control and VCAs. why doesn't anybody make ADSR or at least ASR envelopes in 1u? i would love a 1u version of the Quadra.

It turned out that 2 DAC chips were burnt and that was all that was wrong internally. Apparently he felt that the buttons and panel also needed to be replaced, because he just said he would be replacing them, and I had not asked for that or about that at all...but once it came up, I caught a whiff of an opportunity and said I'd take a black panel if he had any (which he does, but with the same flaws you can see on mine), and the rest is history. The button color and the smaller knobs were a nice additional surprise once the job was done.
So, yeah, I guess if he's rebuilding yours now, then you could probably also get it back in postmortem black. I couldn't have imagined a more satisfying ending to the whole situation.
I seriously hope mine doesn't come back black, it looks nice but everything I have is bugbrand blue! :trippy:
I had to replace a DAC chip on mine when I first bought it secondhand, that's a real bugger to do too!
Pretty sure you'd have to make the arrangements in order to get a black panel back. I also noticed that analoguehaven still sells them NIB, both module and standalone versions, but they've gone up $50 since discontinuation.

Ordered up a third Pico Drums today, resolving to soon get a fourth. Can't get enough changing drum channels. Also planning on replacing the mult with a black Ataraxic from NE.

I also really like the Intellijel selection of 1Us. I've used their Noise Tools and Reverb, which were both great! A 1U oscilloscope would be incredible; I keep taking my o'Tool out of the rack because I can't really justify it taking that space. I'd love to see them make their uVCA into a 1U as well.

If I ever move away from my current Moog case setup, I would definitely go for an Intellijel 7U.

the 1u scope is made by guy that does Euclidean Circles. looks boss. it's an adaptation of the 3 or 4 hp one he offers now?

yah. Intellijel stuff looks neat. but. too much white. i want a black row.

kinda sucks that most Non Intellijel is DIY too. i want a bunch of Pulp Logic and Synsi and Tsyklon loots, and know people that build, but. another line of delay.

VERY cool.

i was wondering if you'd need a rebuild/repanel to get a 6hp 3u into a 1u.

FYI, Penrose doesn't fit in my Intellijel 1u, the PCB is a smidge to wide

I haven't used the arp mode or pattern recorder yet but it's soooo much fun. I was playing around with a patch and had two voices opened by one asr envelope (ch1 gate), two note chords, keep the second note droning a fixed pitch while playing the first just one key. Then I used ch3 to open a really slow asr on a sine wave, swelling in upper harmonics above the other two voices in a lower register. Amazingly expressive.

if the PCB was the right size, does it look like the screw holes (giggety) match up?

The panel is actually a decent amount smaller. 1U is closer in size to 8hp. Exact measurements can be found here:
